About Tres Agaves
Extra Añejo
Tres Agaves Productos prides itself on creating premium tequila products, created with 100% Blue Agave. After success with the Blanco, Reposado and Añejo tequila, Tres Agaves sought to launch a limited edition Extra Añejo, aged more than 3 years in oak barrels in their premium facility in Mexico.
Design Iterations
Taking into account the initial 3 tequila SKUs, the Tres Agaves brand manager requested a color exploration of current package to potentially pursue for the new Extra Añejo product launch.
After rounds of iterations and market research, it was determined that a ruby red color was the chosen shade to move forward with. This brought the next stage which is prepping printer files, designing the carton, and organizing color targets from the printer in Mexico.
